About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Footwear Buyer to join our Buying team at boohoo group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the footwear department and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product development strategies to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to influence strategic plans and developments.
  • Ensure effective communication with junior, assistant, and trainee buyers in designated areas and across the entire department.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage open-to-buy accordingly.
  • Respond to competitor analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Complete buying trips as needed within the UK and internationally.
  • Liaise with marketing and eCommerce teams to develop and maintain professional working relationships.
Requirements
  • Successful experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer, managing footwear categories.
  • Outstanding industry knowledge and ability to identify trends and commercial wins for the brand.
  • Highly commercial with a passion for the menswear industry.
  • Experience of developing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and travel when required.
