Job Description

As Deputy Head Teacher Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the leadership and management of the school/service. This will involve working closely with the head teacher, senior leaders, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that improve student outcomes and enhance the overall educational experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Appropriate teaching qualification
  • Full GTC (Scotland) Registration in the appropriate subject/sector
  • PVG scheme membership

You will be an experienced educational professional with a strong track record of achievement. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, parents, and the community. A degree in education or a related field is essential, and you should be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTC).
