About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects for Cyclife Aquila Nuclear. This will include project management, contract management, scheduling, cost control, resourcing & resource management, procurement, and project quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage engineering, design, and turnkey projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Contract Management: Conduct successful administration and management of all allocated contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered to budget and programme, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
  • Reporting and Communication: Accurately and autonomously complete internal and client project reporting, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Supplier and Sub-Contractor Management: Manage suppliers and sub-contractors for manufacturing, fabrication, and specialist services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Procurement: Manage the procurement of bought-out items, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Project Documentation: Produce accurate and correct project documentation in line with the contract requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Project Functions: Manage all project functions, including design, engineering, procurement, sub-contracted manufacture, build, testing, and installation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients, ensuring their expectations are understood and met.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for further work through discussions with the client, ensuring the company's growth and development.
  • Scope Management: Manage change in scope and ensure appropriate compensation is received, ensuring the project's financial stability.
  • Resource Management: Plan and manage allocated resources through the project phases, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Project Forecasting: Provide accurate project forecast reports and plans in accordance with company processes and procedures.
  • Team Management
  • Quality and Management: Responsible for overall quality and management of projects and programmes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Manage budget and ensure financial accountability on nominated projects and those of their reports.
  • Support and Development: Support Head of Projects and other business needs as required, ensuring the company's growth and development.
  • Line Management: Line management of other team members, including one-to-one and appraisals, ensuring their development and growth.
  • Health and Safety: Responsible for your own workplace safety, demonstrating commitment to health and safety, ensuring all statutory obligations are met and the safety of staff, clients, and visitors are in line with the UK and European standards.
