We are seeking an experienced Fleet Transition Director to join our team at NatWest Group.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities across the bank to grow existing relationships within the vehicle market. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that support their transition to low carbon vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the banking sector and experience in financial analysis and credit stewardship. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Contributing to the delivery of a strategy to identify sources of new business across the bank
  2. Helping to create a long-term impact that supports our growth ambitions and desire to support customers to decarbonise
  3. Identifying and meeting customer needs across their vehicle fleets and supporting in their transition to low carbon vehicle solutions
  4. Taking ownership for and regularly contributing to the delivery of business goals
  5. Working together to build trust and long-term sustainable value for customers and colleagues
The Skills You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need to have some specific knowledge and experience of working across teams to identify and unlock opportunities. We're looking for someone with experience of new business origination, building good relationships with customers, and a good understanding of SME and Corporate businesses. A proactive approach and commercial awareness are essential.

We'd also like you to have:

  1. Sound knowledge and experience in financial analysis and credit stewardship and a detailed understanding of the banking sector
  2. Great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior colleagues
  3. An Agile mindset and a desire to develop our capability and be a part of a key strategic initiative to support customer transition to low carbon vehicles
  4. The ability to build trust with customers and contribute to a collaborative and enthusiastic working environment within our team
  5. Asset Finance experience and contract hire knowledge would be desirable
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
