We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Midwife to join our team at The Portland Hospital. As a Staff Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to women during their inpatient stay, working closely with the midwifery team and Obstetric Consultants to deliver exceptional care.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care to women, demonstrating good clinical practice at all times.
  2. Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide individualized care to women and their families.
  3. Support Consultant Led Care within the maternity service, working closely with Obstetric Consultants to ensure high-quality care is delivered.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered midwife with the NMC, with a strong understanding of antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care. You will also need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
