Role Overview
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled safety professional to drive safety initiatives end-to-end and commission and manage specialist sub-contract work as required. As a Lead Safety Engineer at Rowden, you will ensure our systems meet the highest standards of safety and reliability across dynamic and evolving projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety management plans and certification strategies for safety-related systems
- Conduct thorough safety analyses and integrate findings into system requirements
- Manage contractors and specialist consultants to support safety assurance
- Embed safety requirements across traditional hardware and software-centric architectures

Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in safety and certification engineering in defence, aerospace, automotive, or other regulated industries
- Expertise in DEF STAN 00-056 or other relevant safety standards including practical experience in applying safety analysis methods
- Strong collaborative approach to safety engineering with ability to influence cross-functional teams
