Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment at our client's facility near Wrexham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience working on a variety of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory Health and Safety regulations.
  • Undertake repairs and replacements as required, using a range of tools and equipment.
  • Assist in the development of method statements and risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • A recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Site Services Engineer or similar role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Competence in steam boiler operation (BOAS).
  • Experience with actuators, sensors, hot water cylinders, pumps, chillers, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, and compressed air systems.
  • Knowledge of small-scale mechanical installation work.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Salary Information:

The salary for this role is approximately £35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
