Role Overview
A skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is sought by CV Library to support a leading materials manufacturer in Wrexham. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-growing site, contributing to world-class engineering performance.

This role involves installing and maintaining mechanical systems and components, conducting reactive and preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will play a part in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and supporting engineering projects and machinery refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.
  • Reactive and preventative maintenance.
  • Supporting engineering projects and machinery refurbishments.
The ideal candidate will have a formal mechanical Engineering apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering. Previous experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role, along with welding and fabrication skills, is also essential. Manual Machining and tooling experience, particularly with lathe and milling machines, is highly valued. Knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies and electrical engineering principles is advantageous.
