Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Lindsay Ward, Biggart Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, promoting rehabilitation and maximizing patient potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of patient care principles.
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Awareness of policies and procedures, including infection control and health and safety.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
