Job Title: Children and Young Person's Support Worker

At Rainbow Care Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker for Children and Young People, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to children and young people, including early morning and late evening shifts to facilitate their daily routines.
  • Attend colleges, work placements, and groups to support individuals in engaging in activities and developing life skills.
  • Liaise with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Meet the requirements for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and hold a valid PVG certificate.
Requirements:
  • SVQ3 in Social Services and Healthcare or willingness to work towards it.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care and support.
