Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our Elderly Care team in London. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to elderly patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload: Utilize evidence-based approaches to treat elderly patients, including those with complex medical conditions.
  • Supervise and train physiotherapy staff: Lead and mentor a team of physiotherapists to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Operational oversight: Oversee the operational aspects of our Physiotherapy services, including budgeting, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Service planning and evaluation: Collaborate with discharge teams to plan and evaluate physiotherapy services, ensuring they meet the needs of our elderly patients.
  • Weekend and on-call rotations: Participate in weekend shifts and on-call duties, providing 24/7 coverage for our patients.
  • Clinical governance and project management: Contribute to clinical governance initiatives and lead projects to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications: Registered Physiotherapist with a recognized professional body.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an elderly care setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy practices, including geriatric assessment and management.
