Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and upkeep of lifecycle refurbishment/replacement on manufacturing equipment and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead factory-based projects to meet business targets and priorities.
  • Identify areas of process improvement and implement recommendations.
  • Supervise work of contractors and lead technical investigations as required.
  • Generate protocols and reports, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Provide technical information to all functions within the business.
  • Lead project teams to completion within agreed budget and time constraints.
  • Organise and prioritise workload, providing accurate lead times to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain project documentation and files.
  • Ensure all assigned activity is carried out in accordance with internal and external quality systems.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified engineer with an electrical bias, ideally from an industrial, manufacturing or process-related industry.
  • Demonstration of management of capital budgets (CAPEX).
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • PLC interrogation and automation skills.
