About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Sheffield City Council. As a Senior Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide in-depth support and training to customer service advisors.
  • Support team leaders and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Coach and mentor customer service advisors to improve their skills and performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to customer service advisors.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the council to improve customer service and experience.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a local government or public sector environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and provide support and guidance to colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
