About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at SweetTree Home Care Services. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients with acquired brain injuries and long-term neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, household chores, and personal care.
  • Administer medication and support clients with their medication management.
  • Accompany clients to community activities, appointments, and errands.
  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 months of experience working with clients with brain injuries (desirable).
  • Ability to provide one-on-one support in clients' homes.
  • Dedication to promoting independence and well-being.
  • Commitment to client safety and well-being.
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
