Teaching Assistant Advanced Professional

Join a supportive and collaborative team at Ribbons & Reeves, London's leading Education Recruiters. We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant Advanced Professional to fill a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) position in Hackney.

About the Role

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, taking on an active role in classroom teaching.
  • Lead small group interventions to boost student progress, particularly for students who need extra help.
  • Cover classes in the absence of the teacher, maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist in the assessment of students, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to their progress reports.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to ensure students reach their full academic potential.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a solid understanding of classroom management and supporting students' learning.
  • HLTA qualification or significant experience in a classroom setting with a desire to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and lead small groups.
  • A passion for education and the commitment to helping students succeed.
