The Lancaster City Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of catering operations at The Storey and Ashton Hall.

About the Role:

The Catering Operations Manager will oversee the daily activities of the catering team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. This includes managing resources, reviewing service delivery, and implementing improvements. The post holder will also be responsible for line management, including performance management, recruitment, selection, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily activities of the catering team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Oversee the use of available resources, reviewing service delivery and implementing improvements.
  • Provide line management, including performance management, recruitment, selection, and employee development.
  • Hold responsibility for ensuring Food hygiene certificate and Personal Licence are maintained.
  • Operate a full current UK driving licence, as the post holder will be required to work across different sites.
  • Work 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

About You:
