Job Title: Digital Archivist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Archivist to join our team at the University of Westminster. As a Digital Archivist, you will be responsible for the preservation and cataloguing of our digital collections, ensuring they remain accessible for generations to come.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a digital preservation strategy to ensure the long-term accessibility of our digital collections.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain digital collections, including metadata and cataloguing.
  3. Provide support and training to colleagues on digital preservation and cataloguing best practices.
  4. Contribute to the development of digital engagement strategies to promote our collections and services.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in digital preservation and cataloguing.
