Test Equipment Specialist

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology provides process solutions for research and production of materials and semiconductors. Our tools are used in various industries, including medical devices and diagnostics, electric cars, and quantum computers.
The RoleWe are seeking a Test Equipment Specialist to join our Test Team, responsible for delivering fully tested high-tech products. This role involves working with complex system configurations and developing new capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Delivering fully functional tested products, strictly following test procedures.
- Taking ownership of allocated products and resolving any issues that arise.
- Ensuring test procedures are strictly adhered to and all documentation is completed accurately.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong engineering background, excellent technical skills, and knowledge of electrical systems. Essential qualifications include a time-served Electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds part 3, or qualified to HND, HNC, or BTech level 3 (electrical).
Salary and BenefitsThe starting salary for this role is £45,000, with additional benefits including a share incentive plan, 25 days annual leave, half-days on Fridays, a defined contribution Group Personal Pension Plan, and a flexible benefits package tailored to your requirements.
