Test Equipment Technician

About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Field Based Calibration Engineer to join our team in County Durham. As a key member of a specialist team, you will be responsible for the calibration and adjustment of a wide range of test and measurement equipment at customer sites across the South West of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver exceptional service delivery to customers
- To provide timely data to the administration team
- To work flexibly to meet customers' requirements
- To maintain a tidy and well-organized environment
- To collaborate with admin staff regarding customer contact and requirements
- To obtain product specifications and maintain a suitable library facility
- To calibrate a wide range of multi-parameter test equipment from various industry sectors
- To provide certificate details upon completion of calibration tasks
About You:
- A minimum HNC in electrical/electronic or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- Experience within the instrumentation industry or previous calibration experience in an electrical/electronic role
- Able to travel frequently to customer sites (60:40 time spent at home vs away)
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
