About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a Senior Worker, you will play a crucial role in managing referrals, coordinating short-term placements, and liaising with accommodation providers to support individuals facing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage referrals and coordinate the smooth transition of individuals from our service to hostels.
  • Coordinate short-term placements and work with hotels, backpacker hostels, and B&B accommodations to arrange temporary stays.
  • Liaise with accommodation providers and build relationships with hostel staff through regular visits and collaboration.
  • Represent our service and work with external agencies to create effective plans for individuals with complex needs.
  • Work within an integrated team and provide support to our hub and outreach teams as needed.
  • Commit to safeguarding and ensure the appropriate management of safeguarding concerns related to those facing homelessness.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience within the homelessness sector. You should be an effective communicator, both written and verbal, with solid IT skills. You should also be proactive, independent, and able to manage time effectively.
