Golf Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Golf Sales Executive to join our team at The Belfry Hotel & Resort. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling, managing, and upselling our golf facilities to maximize revenue opportunities and achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate event details prior to the event taking place
- Proactively call lapsed business, new sales leads, and monthly challenge targets
- Assist with monthly sales reports to ensure timely completion
- Maintain SOP procedures to ensure cancellation charges are retrieved
- Ensure all group business is contracted and in line with company SOP
- Assist with the daily business review, including events entered, status changes, cancellations, and turn-downs
- Price incoming enquiries according to golf course and hotel demand
- Assist in developing golf offerings and rates for residential golf business
- Conduct competitor analysis and client show rounds to maximize revenue
- Handle telephone enquiries in accordance with the 59Club Test call crib sheet and SOP
- Manage and develop the golf database
We are looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of golf and the ability to play at a good level, allowing them to advise clients during sales. Additionally, you should possess:
- Methodical and accurate work habits, with outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy, with experience of hotel PMS systems (e.g., Delphi & Opera)
- Sales focus and enthusiasm, with excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility and ability to work well within a team
