Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Service Charge Accounts Specialist to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, based on experience.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, combining home and office work, from our location at 74 King Edward St, Macclesfield SK10 1AT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Year End Accounts:
    • Develop and implement timelines for producing and finalising accounts, aligning with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and client requirements.
    • Prepare annual Service Charge Accounts for 5-6 large developments, collaborating closely with Estates teams, clients, and external auditors.
    • Compile and review monthly reconciliations of income and expenditure.
    • Process Heat Billing reconciliations on a monthly basis where required.
    • Attend site at least quarterly to provide support and guidance.
    • Support the Senior Service Charge Accountant Manager with ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
  • AAT qualified or equivalent accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA or CIMA part qualification).
  • Experience working in accounts, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently from home once trained.
  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office.
