Research Scientist

SRG is seeking a highly skilled Lab Scientist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the manufacture and quality control of specialist reagents.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of reagents, lyophilisation and quality control of small-medium scale batches.
- Receipt and handling of reagents and chemicals, including aliquoting, storage and uploading onto the QMS as necessary.
- Collaboration with CMO's and in-house specialists to support production scaling activities.
- Development and implementation of QC and validation protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory processes.
- Monitoring of QC pass and fails, with a focus on non-conformance and corrective action.
- Maintenance of accurate records and documentation of production activities in accordance with company policy.
- Background in IVD development, with experience working to ISO 13485 standards in a production or QC team.
- Proven industry/commercial lab experience, ideally in a device development setting.
- Strong proficiency in RT-PCR and other molecular techniques, including reagent and chemical handling.
