Job Summary:
Thales is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our Defence Commercial, Legal & Contracts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively managing and directly influencing our bids and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial advice and recommendations to the business on commercial issues, risks, liabilities, and opportunities related to business relationship agreements, bids, and projects.
- Develop commercial propositions for major win-business campaigns.
- Support senior management in commercial negotiations with customers, consortium partners, and sub-contractors.
- Provide bid and project teams with advice, recommendations, and costings pertaining to UK and International contracts.
- Respond to and negotiate customers' proposed contractual agreements and Contract 'Changes'.
- Identify and manage issues and disputes arising with customers in conjunction with the Legal function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team and contribute to the success of Thales. As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and develop your skills in commercial management.
Requirements:
- Commercial background in the defence/aerospace/technology sector with experience providing commercial/contract management expertise.
- Ability to build and manage relationships across all levels and throughout the identify, bidding, negotiation, and delivery phases of bids/projects.
- Proven analytical and written skills with the ability to understand pricing, risks, and mitigation of contracts.
