About the Job

We are seeking a Community Health Volunteer Engagement Specialist to join our client's team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience developing and managing volunteer programmes
  • A strong understanding of health inequalities and experience in addressing diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of innovative volunteering approaches to improve patient experiences and address community health challenges
  • Design and launch volunteer roles that address health challenges and foster a volunteer community reflective of the wider population
  • Build relationships with community partners to support the development of volunteering initiatives
