EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead technical projects and provide expertise to customers.

Job Purpose

The Project Engineer will act as a technical lead on customer or internal projects, providing technical assessment, analysis, and documentation. The engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery to the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for detailed project design solutions under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Analysis of electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance of batteries.
  • Specification of battery components and collaboration with CAD Manager to generate drawings.
  • Support in-build technical checks and verification of project hardware from test data.
  • Production of project documentation, including analysis reports and test plans.
  • Communication on technical matters to customers and support proposals with technical inputs.
Requirements
  • A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience as an engineer in a customer-facing role and good IT skills for data analysis and results presentation.
  • Experience with test and verification activities and report writing.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with space industry primes, agencies, and end users.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ECSS standards.
