About the Role
At EKFB, we are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in the Brackley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project, the HS2 rail link, and contribute to the delivery of civil engineering works across an 80km section.
The primary focus of this role is to work within a section of the HS2 project, ensuring that completion documents are embedded and embraced by the construction delivery teams. This involves collating and retaining relevant completions assurance records, working closely with the construction delivery teams to balance quality, technical assurance, and completions requirements against programme constraints and effective methods of delivery.
As a Quality Engineer, you will develop and utilize relationships with client representatives and internal stakeholders to deliver all construction-related aspects of quality and assurance. You will use relevant IT systems to manage quality and completions documentation and records, working collaboratively with delivery teams to plan for product realization through inspection and test plans, work package plans, etc.
About You
- Competent Quality and/or Handover (Completions) Engineer with proven experience in successfully implementing document quality control and assurance requirements and interventions.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
- Very good knowledge and practical application of quality assurance or handover best practice strategies and interventions.
- Experience of using digital systems to support quality of the completions record-keeping for projects.
- Flexible approach to managing, prioritizing, and delivering to deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Committed to continuous personal and professional development.
