About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the business to conduct quality inspections of finished products, identifying any product quality or food safety issues, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for flagging products with issues, recording actions, and participating in hygiene verification.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conducting product inspections, trial samples, and end-of-life products
  • Participating in mock recall and traceability exercises as required
  • Coordinating customer complaints and contacting relevant parties
  • Generating quality reports and sharing with required parties
  • Highlighting any quality or food safety issues to management
  • Logging actions from internal and external audits and filing as required

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within food manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, forward thinker, and problem solver.

  • Experience working in a similar role within food manufacturing
  • HACCP Level 3 or Food Safety Level 3 (beneficial but not required)
  • Food or Science degree (beneficial but not required)
