Job Summary:

Company is seeking a skilled CMM Programmer/Setter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and programming CMM machines, performing dimensional inspections, and ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and Program CMM Machines: Utilize established programs and create new ones using PCDMIS software to ensure efficient and accurate measurements.
  2. Perform Dimensional Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections using CMM, Verniers, micrometres, and height gauges to ensure product quality.
  3. Visual and Dimensional Inspection: Perform inspections according to procedures to guarantee product compliance.
  4. First Off and In-Process Inspections: Conduct initial and ongoing inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  5. First Article Inspection (FAI) Packages: Ensure all FAI packages are completed accurately and efficiently.
  6. CMM Measurement Programs: Develop and modify measurement programs using PC-DMIS software to optimize production.
Essential Skills:
  1. Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand drawings, engineering documents, purchase orders, inspection manuals, and procedures.
  2. Programming and Operating Skills: Strong background in programming and operating CMM machines using PC-DMIS software.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with AS9102 Form and First Article Inspection (FAI) in Aerospace and/or Military/Defence Manufacturing environments.
  4. Inspection Experience: Practical experience performing in-process and final inspections.
  5. Tool Familiarity: Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometres and verniers.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience programming/operating CMMs and performing inspection in Aerospace and/or Military/Defence Manufacturing environments.
