Lead Digital Modeller

The Surfacing Team at Envisage Recruitment Limited is a dynamic group of skilled professionals dedicated to transforming design concepts into high-quality, aesthetically appealing surfaces that embody our brand's vision and technical standards. As a key member of our Design Digital Group, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between creative design and engineering feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Creative Collaboration: Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure that every surface created reflects the original design intent while also meeting technical requirements.
  2. Technical Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge in advanced modelling software and a strong understanding of engineering principles.
  3. Innovation and Adaptability: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements, continuously seeking innovative solutions to design challenges.
  4. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality, encouraging open communication, continuous learning, and professional growth.

As a Lead Digital Modeller, you will be responsible for assisting Surfacing Managers, developing detailed 3D surface sketches, establishing surface releases, creating and supporting surface data, and participating in non-VR and VR reviews. You will also collaborate with the design and visualization teams to create high-quality data for advanced visualizations and animation deliverables.

Main Activities & Tasks:
  1. Assist Surfacing Managers: Support Interior and Exterior Surfacing Managers by effectively managing project inputs and outputs.
  2. Sketch 3D Surfaces for Aesthetic Design Development: Develop detailed 3D surface sketches that facilitate the exploration and refinement of aesthetic designs.
  3. Establish Surface Releases for Production Surfacing Activities: Develop surface releases that provide a solid foundation for subsequent production surfacing activities.
  4. Create and Support Surface Data for Production Surfacing: Generate and maintain surface data essential for production surfacing activities.
  5. Support Non-Virtual Reality (VR) and VR Reviews: Actively participate in both non-VR and VR evaluations of surface data.
  6. Assist with Data Creation for Visualization and Animation: Collaborate with the design and visualization teams to create high-quality data that supports advanced visualizations and animation deliverables.
