Exciting Opportunity for a Machine Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marshalls PLC, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our busy Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for the cleaning and preparation of concrete press tooling for various products we manufacture.

About the Role:

  • Clean and prepare concrete press tooling to the correct specification
  • Work closely with other team members to set up and remove tooling as required on presses
  • E nsure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and company policies followed
  • Promote continuous improvement (CI) and use it to better the department and site

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Practical hands-on approach
  • Recognised engineering qualification in a mechanical discipline at NVQ 2 or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience, understanding, and knowledge of the maintenance of a variety of plant
  • Ability to weld (ARC or MIG)

Salary: We offer an attractive salary of £43,000 per annum, plus benefits.
