The AICS Group, a specialist in community-based rehabilitation and support, seeks a highly skilled Personal Assistant to work closely with an 18-year-old client residing in the CR3 postcode area.

**Job Overview:**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Personal Assistant, providing dedicated support to our client who requires assistance with daily living tasks due to cerebral palsy resulting from premature birth complications. Our client is fully dependent on support workers for meeting their daily needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate individual to work at least twice a week, covering school days and holidays/weekends. The ideal candidate will have a current clean driving license and a minimum of one year's experience in health and social care.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with developmental delay and cognitive impairment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work in the client's home environment
  • Capacity to liaise effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Willingsness to learn and adapt to changing situations

**Desirable Skills:*

  • Experience in providing care to individuals living in the community
