Job Overview
The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Nuclear Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our nuclear medicine services.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs for nuclear medicine equipment
- Ensure legislative compliance and maintain accurate records
- Supervise and train staff in radiopharmacy and nuclear medicine procedures
- Assist in the administration of radionuclide therapies
- Contribute to research and development initiatives

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- HCPC State Registered Clinical Scientist
- Specialist knowledge of Nuclear Medicine (minimum of 2 years post registration experience)
- Knowledge of UK legislation relating to the use of sealed and unsealed radioactive materials
Desirable Criteria
- Higher qualification
- Experience in carrying out research and development
- Teaching/Training Experience
