Job Overview

The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Nuclear Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our nuclear medicine services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs for nuclear medicine equipment
  • Ensure legislative compliance and maintain accurate records
  • Supervise and train staff in radiopharmacy and nuclear medicine procedures
  • Assist in the administration of radionuclide therapies
  • Contribute to research and development initiatives

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • HCPC State Registered Clinical Scientist
  • Specialist knowledge of Nuclear Medicine (minimum of 2 years post registration experience)
  • Knowledge of UK legislation relating to the use of sealed and unsealed radioactive materials

Desirable Criteria

  • Higher qualification
  • Experience in carrying out research and development
  • Teaching/Training Experience
