We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs and a passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Job Description

The successful SEN Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. This will involve developing and implementing individualized education plans, monitoring student progress, and working closely with teaching assistants to ensure effective support.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and supporting students in a SEND school setting
  • Developing and delivering lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students
  • Monitoring and recording student progress
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants to ensure effective support
Requirements
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
  • Excellent knowledge of the primary or secondary curriculum
  • Experience teaching in SEND settings
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum. In addition, we offer a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
