Harrison Scott Associates is seeking an experienced Technical Trials and Product Development Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting technical trials with the technical team, identifying new techniques and materials to improve product offering, and ensuring all NCRs are reviewed and corrective actions generated are followed through.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Trials and Product Development Specialist, you will lead the technical team to identify new techniques and materials that can enhance product development. You will also review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure that corrective actions are implemented accordingly.

You will work closely with the operations team to achieve continuous improvement in product quality, maintaining a robust Quality Management System that adheres to ISO 9001 standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Engineering team to trial new machinery and processes, ensuring they comply with company policies.

Your goal will be to implement efficient work practices, aiming for zero errors, nil waste, and no double handling. You will also reduce manual intervention by automating routine activities and ensure all data is maintained and accurate in company systems. Finally, you will assess performance constantly, identifying success factors, bottlenecks, and proposing improvements.
