Specialist Doctor in ME/CFS Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist team in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly service, supporting patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, Cornwall.
About the Role- Provide specialist medical services to patients referred directly to the service, as directed by the Specialty Lead and or the Electronic Referrals Service.
- Support research and best practice in this and related conditions.
- Receive supervision from a named consultant, in line with the skills and experience of the person appointed.
- Teach and train junior staff and medical students where applicable.

Job ResponsibilitiesTo be an employee of the NHS, you need to successfully complete several checks, including Identity Checks, Professional registration and qualification checks, Employment history and reference checks, Work health assessments, Criminal record check standards, and Right to work checks.
Key Requirements- Clinical experience in ME/CFS or a related condition.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary of £**77,000-£90,000 per annum**, depending on experience.
