Graduate Teaching Assistant (Post-16) Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a prestigious educational institute in Gateshead. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students excel in their studies.

The Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with educators to deliver engaging lessons, provide individual and group support, and contribute to a positive learning environment. You will be instrumental in helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a love for learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
  • Committed to working with young people and dedicated to supporting their academic growth.
  • Previous experience working with post-16 students in an educational setting is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational abilities, strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Understanding and compassionate approach to helping students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
  • Up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
