Role Overview

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students over 16 in their academic journey. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students excel in their studies.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Education or a related field.
  • Committed to working alongside young people and dedicated to supporting their academic growth.
  • Previous experience working with post-16 students in an educational setting is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational abilities, excellent communication and classroom management skills, and the capacity to run a classroom efficiently.
  • Understanding and compassionate approach to helping students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
  • Up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one.
