We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Oakfield House School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils with complex needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with their learning through engaging and interactive activities.
  • Manage daily schedules, including activities, breaks, and rest time, to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Provide personal care, including feeding, toileting, and changing, with sensitivity and respect.
  • Adhere to safeguarding principles to ensure the welfare and protection of our pupils.
  • Meet the cognitive, social, and emotional needs of each pupil, promoting their growth and independence.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic learning environment, adhering to high standards of equipment safety and cleanliness.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting pupil self-esteem and confidence.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and a grade C or above in English or equivalent.

Oakfield House School is an outstanding Primary School for autistic pupils and those associated with Autism/Learning or Complex Communication and Behaviour needs. Our school is a country house built in the 1880s, set in eight acres of beautiful parkland.
