About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Oakfield House School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils with autism and complex needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils in their learning journey, helping them to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the delivery of classroom activities.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to pupils, promoting their well-being and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure that each pupil's individual needs are met.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and a grade C or above in English or equivalent.
About Us

Oakfield House School is an outstanding Primary School for autistic pupils and those associated with Autism/Learning or Complex Communication and Behaviour needs. Our school is a country house built in the 1880s, set in eight acres of beautiful parkland.

We cater for 45 boys and girls aged between 4 and 12 years old and have been judged as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.
