Job Title: Mental Health Patient Transport Specialist

At UK Event Medical Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Patient Transport Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Secure Patient Transport Team, you will play a vital role in transporting patients who require secure mental health transportation services.

This is a permanent position offering a salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, plus benefits including a company pension scheme and 28 days' holiday pro rata. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from one of our six UK bases, operating as part of a dynamic team that provides independent ambulance services and healthcare logistics.

To be considered for this role, you must be available for a comprehensive 2-week induction and training course, which includes best practice surrounding the transfer of patients in accordance with the Mental Health Act. You will also receive ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to acquire additional recognised qualifications throughout your career with UKEMS.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively engage with patients who may be reluctant to travel. You will also need to maintain a high standard of vehicle and equipment serviceability, cleanliness, and readiness.
