Maintenance Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Harbour Healthcare. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Care Centre.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the Care Centre's exterior and interior are well-maintained.
  • Test and maintain fire alarm systems, ventilation units, and lighting.
  • Conduct regular checks on appliances, furniture, and equipment to identify and report any defects.
  • Assist with deliveries and monitor goods closely.
  • Liaise with the Home Manager and other staff members to coordinate maintenance work.
Requirements:
  • General maintenance knowledge and experience.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Confident and willing to receive training on current Health & Safety regulations.
  • Clean driving licence and use of a car or similar vehicle.
