We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at City Centre Recruitment. As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely Operate a Forklift: Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain Forklift Equipment: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Warehouse Organization: Organize and stack goods in designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- Valid Forklift License: Possess a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck license.
- Warehouse Experience: Proven experience as an FLT Operative in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical Fitness: Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Flexibility: Ability to work 3 shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) and occasional Saturdays.
