Job Title: FLT Operative
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced FLT Operative to join our warehouse team. As a FLT Operative, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Organize and stack goods in the designated areas, ensuring efficient use of space.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including packing, labeling, and general housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred).
- Proven experience as an FLT Operative in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Be adaptable, be able to work 3 shift 6-2/2-10/10-6 and the odd Saturday when needed.
