Global Supply Chain Manager

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Market Supply Chain Lead. This role is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth coordination of our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement market forecasts to reflect sales demand, ensuring accurate understanding of market requirements and regular reviews.
- Prepare and facilitate the Market/Cluster S&OP, serving as the main point of contact for Regional SNO and coordinating on supply, demand, and critical issues.
- Manage inventory reporting, including preparation of reports, analysis of data, and effective issue resolution.
- Lead local customer service functions, including order management, invoicing, returns, complaints, deviations, and in-market transportation.
- Manage contracts and technical agreements with 3PL providers, ensuring excellent service and adherence to KPIs.
- Align with Regional/Global SNO on inventory parameters, including safety stock, cycle stock, and proactive obsolescence management.
- Collaborate with Regional/Global SNO, Local Regulatory Affairs, Local QA, and Commercial teams to ensure market requirements and priorities are met for Change Implementations and New Launches.
- Lead and/or participate in projects aimed at improving sales, service levels, and/or reducing costs.
- Control the budget assigned to our 3PL partner, ensuring services are provided at the highest level possible, monitoring KPIs, and improving processes to streamline operations.
- University degree in science, economics, or business or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of industry experience in Supply Chain in an international environment.
- Minimum 2 years in a role with regular interaction with Senior Management.
- Previous experience in warehousing and distribution, order to cash, and/or distributor management.
- Experience in Demand Planning and ERP Tools, such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, as well as other data analysis tools.
- APICS qualification is an advantage.
- Proven change management experience, including working with mindset change/focus.
- Effective communication, persuasion, and influencing skills, including up to country GM level.
- Able to lead and participate in problem-solving across functions, regions, and businesses.
- People management skills, responsible for recruiting, training, and development of direct reports.
- Fluent in one or more national languages and English.
- Dutch is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Excel.
