At Tendring Technology College, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our administrative team as an Academic Support Assistant. This is a fixed-term position, with the duration determined by the job role and current skills. The typical duration of this apprenticeship is 21 months.

We offer a competitive salary of £20,134 + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional benefits. As an Academic Support Assistant, you will provide professional administrative support, take ownership of your apprenticeship training, and work on average 6 hours per week to develop your knowledge, skills, and behaviours for the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our team
  • Completing the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard through dedicated time away from your job
  • Collaborating with your Manager and Trainer to ensure seamless progress on the apprenticeship e-portfolio

Our ideal candidate will have resided in the UK or EEA for 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship and not have already completed a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship.
