Payroll and Pensions Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll and Pensions Team Leader to join our team at Brothers of Charity Services Lancashire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of staff within the payroll department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing and reporting of company payrolls.
Key Responsibilities- Operational leadership and management of staff within the Payroll function, including line management of administrators.
- Production of 4-weekly and weekly payrolls for Lancashire and Merseyside locations.
- End-of-year processing and submission of payroll data to HMRC and relevant pension providers.
- Thorough understanding of payroll processes, including lunar payrolls, payments in arrears, and ad-hoc payments.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office packages.
- Full driving licence and use of a car for work.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
