Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Thanet. As a Senior Cardiac Rehabilitation Assistant, you will work closely with patients to provide support and care following a cardiac event. Your key responsibilities will include developing and delivering exercise programs tailored to meet individual patient needs, promoting physical and mental well-being.
This is a 7.5 hour per week, three days a week position that requires driving with access to a vehicle. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising nurses, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, counsellors, cardiac rehab assistants, administrators, and volunteers.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of heart disease and its associated risks, as well as experience working with vulnerable people and at-risk groups. A driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience.
