Job Summary

Safran Landing Systems, a leading manufacturer of aircraft landing and braking systems, is seeking an experienced Engineering Group Leader to lead the Systems Integration team. This role is responsible for overseeing the integration of landing gear systems across various programs, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Systems Integration team to meet project milestones and deliverables on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies for landing gear systems integration, including requirements management, safety and reliability, performance and dynamics.
  • Manage and support the personal and professional development of team members, including performance management, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers and Programme Chief Engineers Office (PCEO) to define project scope, plan, and cost management.
  • Support the team in developing technical capability, improving ways of working, and capturing knowledge using the Knowledge Sharing Network.

Requirements

  • Qualified to a minimum of HND level in a relevant engineering or program management discipline.
  • Relevant experience in leading a team and project management, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Safety & Reliability, and Performance & Dynamics is preferred.
  • DBS clearance will be required.
