We are seeking an experienced School Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day school operations at one of our North Birmingham schools. The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience and be passionate about creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth functioning of all departments, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Liaise and collaborate with principals, teachers, and staff to implement school policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and execution of school improvement plans.
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for teachers and support staff.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Manage school systems to ensure all records are maintained efficiently.
  • Handle student admissions, registration, and enrolment processes.
  • Work with financial staff to track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and allocate funds appropriately.
  • Develop, review, and update school policies in line with legal and educational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations around child protection and education standards.

Requirements:

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
